Winradio wr 1550 software informer. If you haven't already set up an email account in Mail, you might be prompted to add one when you open the app. If you're not prompted, or you just want to add another account, follow these steps:
Add an email account
Open the “Mail” app on Mac Pull down the “Mail” menu and choose “Add Account” Select “Other Mail Account” then click Continue Enter the name associated with the account, the @outlook.com email address, and the password, then click “Sign In” to add the email account to Mail.
Intermittently that native iOS mail app won't download new emails from my Gmail account, even though there are new messages in the Gmail inbox and the Gmail app itself would receive new mail with no issues. I would go into the iOS mail app and swipe the screen down to refresh and the app would get stuck on the 'Connecting.' I recently upgraded to OS X Yosemite, but had this problem before upgrading as well. I have an Office 365 mail account, but cannot sync it via Apple Mail. I went into my Apple Mail accounts and tried connecting my Office 365 account through the Exchange option, but it will not connect. Open the Apple Mail application by clicking the Mail icon on the bottom dock. You can also click the magnifying glass on the top right and type the word 'Mail' into the search bar. If you need to add an additional account, click 'Mail Add Account.' The mail app opens and asks you to select an account provider. Uncheck Mail for any other accounts in Internet Account. Go to your User's Library/Mail folder. Rename Mail to Mailxxxx. Go to the Containers folder in your User's Library folder and delete com.apple.mail. Log out under the Apple in the Menu bar. Go to System Preferences Internet Accounts. Add your account back. Hopefully you will get past the previous hang. Hold on adding any other accounts at this time.

I am trying to add a new Mail account. I successfully added the account to my iPad so I know the info is correct, but when I try adding the same account to my MacBook Pro, I am stuck at the 'Select the apps you want to use with this account' screen.
So:
This issue started yesterday when my hard drive became too full. I had an alert stating 'Mail cannot save data to your hard drive' and confirmed the alert, then Mail became an empty app as new, without any of my IMAP accounts. The accounts disappeared, they're not in my System Preferences > Internet Accounts either. Trying to add the accounts in System Preferences (rather than Mail) gives me the same result (stuck on selecting apps).
